What the official site says

The official Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 site presents the sequel as a four-player co-op experience and explicitly advertises cross-platform co-op with newly added cross-platform voice chat. This upgrades the basic crossplay signal from a reported lead to an official product claim.

What remains a separate question

Cross-platform co-op does not automatically prove cross-progression, shared saves, identical content updates, or the exact invite flow on every platform. Those details should be checked against the official FAQ or a current playable build.

• Use the official site as the source for the advertised platform promise.
• Record platform, build, host/client role, and invite path for in-game tests.
• Do not treat crossplay and cross-progression as the same feature.
